FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HDT Robotics, LLC dba BLADE, a leader in highly capable robotic systems, announced its selection as one of six industry partners for the U.S. Army’s Infantry Last Tactical Mile (ILTM) initiative, a key effort within the Army’s mission autonomy portfolio to modernize infantry support for soldiers on the battlefield.

BLADE's Hunter WOLF climbs steep slopes with 2,800 lbs. of gear.

To meet the requirements of this crucial logistical resupply and casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) program, BLADE has submitted the Hunter WOLF unmanned autonomous ground vehicle (UGV) – a production-ready, 6×6, diesel / electric hybrid autonomous multi-mission robotic UGV specifically designed for light and dismounted infantry formations. The Hunter WOLF is a mature, TRL-9 vehicle that has already proven its capability in numerous Force Design Innovation and Assessment (FDIA) events and battlefield operations.

The Hunter WOLF is an ideal solution for contested logistical resupply to the forward line of own troops (FLOT). It is multi-mission robotic UGV that seamlessly accepts configurable payloads to meet the dynamic needs of maneuver formations and all Army warfighting functions. The Hunter WOLF autonomously carries 2,800 lbs., operates through dense forests, climbs 60% grades, traverses 40% slide slopes, offloads power, and supports both sustainment and casualty evacuation missions.

“The Hunter WOLF is engineered, manufactured, field-proven and ready to support warfighters in challenging contested environments.” said Tom Van Doren, President of Robotics, BLADE. “It is battle-tested and field-proven to be the Army’s solution for the most dangerous and logistically complex segment of the battlefield.”
